| Deluxe Workshop : Basic Whittling |
This is a basic introduction into wood carving. You will learn about woods, tools, safety, and cuts. As part of the workshop you will receive a knife, safety glove, thumb guard, carving block, and printed course information to take home. During the workshop you will have the opportunity to practice whittling and will receive feedback on proper usage as well as learn tips and tricks for successful whittling.
Frank is fascinated by lost arts and traditional ways of creating original works. He has been exploring chainmaille craft since 2003, woodcarving since 2007 and is a carpenter by trade and works for a local school district.
