| Deluxe Workshop : Basic Chainmaille |
Chainmaille is a metal fabric used in making clothing and jewelry.
The workshop will provide a historical discussion, introduction to various
weaves, and a description of various types of steel. You will learn and practice
the European 4-in-1 method of weaving metal fabric. The workshop will provide the
necessary supplies including stainless steel split rings, flat nosed pliers,
findings and various printed information.
Frank is fascinated by lost arts and traditional ways of creating original works. He has been exploring chainmaille craft since 2003, woodcarving since 2007 and is a carpenter by trade and works for a local school district.
